TCK6340 CNC Slant-Bed Lathe: Upgraded Precision Turning for Modern Metalworking

The TCK6340 combines a rigid 30° slant bed, 4000 rpm spindle, and high-efficiency roller linear guides to deliver stable, precise, and continuous machining performance for small- and medium-sized metal components.

The TCK6340 CNC slant-bed lathe is engineered as a new-generation turning solution that balances rigidity, power, precision and long-term stability. Designed on a 30-degree integrated slant-bed structure, the machine enhances chip evacuation efficiency and reduces thermal deformation during long-cycle machining. This structural advantage, combined with a maximum swing of approximately 400 mm and a practical turning diameter near 300 mm, allows the TCK6340 to easily handle shaft parts, flange parts and precision cylindrical components in diverse industrial fields.

The machine adopts a resin-sand cast iron body that undergoes double artificial aging to ensure long-term dimensional stability. Its saddle layout is compact yet rigid, capable of carrying smooth heavy-duty cutting without vibration. The X and Z axes utilize 35-series roller linear guides, delivering fast, stable movement with a rapid feed of up to 20 m/min on both axes. A travel range of around 200 mm for X and 400 mm for Z provides comfortable machining space for a wide variety of part dimensions.

At the heart of the TCK6340 lies a high-performance spindle system built around an A2-5 spindle nose. The bore design approaches 56 mm, making it suitable for longer bar material and medium-diameter shaft applications. The spindle is driven by a 7.5 kW motor, supplying strong torque at low speed while supporting smooth rotation up to 4000 rpm. Each spindle assembly undergoes dynamic balance calibration under constant-temperature conditions, significantly reducing vibration and ensuring long service life.

To complement the spindle, the feed mechanism uses C3-grade ball screws with matched P4 bearings mounted under preloaded conditions. This structure helps maintain positioning accuracy within approximately 0.008 mm and repeatability around 0.005 mm, ensuring high stability for fine finishing and close-tolerance components. The minimum programmable unit of 0.001 mm provides sufficient resolution for precision machining tasks.

The standard chuck diameter is around 160 mm, paired with a hydraulic clamping system for fast and secure workpiece changes. The turret layout accommodates multiple turning tools, enabling the machine to switch among roughing, finishing, threading and grooving operations without manual adjustment. Depending on customer needs, the TCK6340 can be equipped with FANUC, Siemens or domestic controllers, all of which support powerful cycle machining, interpolation and optional live-tool expansions.

The machine’s fully enclosed protection enhances safety and keeps coolant inside the machining area. Additional accessories, such as chip conveyors, bar feeders, tool setters and oil mist collectors, can be integrated to support lean production and automated machining lines. With a floor dimension around 2100 × 1500 × 1600 mm and a total machine weight approaching 2800 kg, the TCK6340 remains compact while maintaining heavy-duty structural rigidity.

With its combination of structural design, spindle performance, guideway precision and automation compatibility, the TCK6340 is a reliable solution for industries such as automotive parts, hydraulic fittings, machinery manufacturing and general hardware production.
